AZDEL specializes in the manufacture of Thermoplastic Composite materials. In bringing new products to market, we go through a rigorous New Product Development (NPD) commercialization process to ensure that new products meet exacting customer requirements while being developed within expeditious lead-times.
While in development, the product goes through numerous stages as it is promoted towards becoming a fully commercial product. It starts as an experimental product, goes to a developmental product as it is scaled-up on the production line, becomes semi-commercialized as it meets volume and consistency goals, and finally becomes a standard product once all quality and performance criteria have been met. Through each stage of the product development process, successively tighter quality targets are met as the product and process optimization takes place.
